About:
Once upon a time there was fire in a little girl’s heart. A need to be seen, to be accepted, to be acknowledged for who she was, to be judged after her own doings, fairly and not based on some outdated and preconceived ideas. The little girl grew up, but this need stayed in her heart.
Women’s Perspective was born out of the fire and passion of seeking justice, being equal and most of all, worthy of love and to be seen.
Women’s Perspective is here to be an example where we are making space for one another, where we are lifting each other up, lending each other the helping hand, a listening ear, the willingness of consideration, an open mind.
Women’s Perspective is a place where it’s ok to not have it all together all the time, where our friends are going to have our backs to help us out in times of need.
Women’s Perspective is a sisterhood where friends don’t look alike, have very different backgrounds, but are here to understand one another.
We are not just a title (mother or wife) but whole, worthy, real flesh and blood people with beating hearts, brains, interests and dreams. We are here to allow ourselves to become our best selves, to reach our full potentials.
Women’s Perspective is a place to show as many human faces, ideas, dreams as possible, to care, to nurture, to empathize, to laugh and cry together, feel each other’s pain and even heartbreaks.
Women’s Perspective is a place where we are aspiring to learn from each other what it is to be a woman one post, one poem, one live at a time.
